Not only does Patagonia make some of the best hiking gear we recommend, it’s also included in today’s Prime Day deals. Patagonia is one of the brands you feel good about supporting. It’s the only outdoor gear brand that is literally owned by planet Earth. I never feel guilty buying the newest Patagonia wear because I know I’m supporting a great cause — so excuse the excitement I felt when I discovered these amazing Prime Day-adjacent REI deals on the best Patagonia items.

Patagonia Women’s Classic Retro-X Jacket was $229 now $139 @ REI

Patagonia Women’s Classic Retro-X Jacket was $229 now $139 @ REI
If I didn’t already have a horde of Patagonia fleeces in my closet, I would add this design to my cart now. This would be perfect for the upcoming cooler months, ideal for the transitional fall period and then for layering under the best down jackets during the harsh winter. I love the gorgeous green and ivory color palette, perfect for those who want to channel outdoor hikes when the weather is too cold to do so.

Lightweight Men’s Synchilla Snap-T Fleece Pullover was $139 now $68 @ REI

Lightweight Men’s Synchilla Snap-T Fleece Pullover was $139 now $68 @ REI
I know this is technically a men’s fleece but I own loads of Patagonia items from the men’s section — just size down if you’re a woman looking for a snugger fit. Have you ever felt one of these Synchilla fleeces? The fleece fabric is so soft it feels like the chinchilla fur for which it was named. And the best thing is these fleeces are lightweight and thin, so you can layer up without having to carry around bulky clothes in the warm afternoons. This fleece is also available in loads of different patterns, colors, and sizes — it won’t last long!

Jackson Men’s Glacier Down Jacket was $369 now $183 @ REI

Jackson Men’s Glacier Down Jacket was $369 now $183 @ REI
I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw this. REI, reducing a luxurious Patagonia down-filled coat right before winter? It’s almost too good to be true. I own a down-filled Patagonia parka and look forward to the weather getting colder so I can start wearing it again. Patagonia down jackets are so insulating that I wore mine in Seoul in December when it was 5°F outside and I couldn’t feel a thing. Snap this up before it’s gone!

Black Hole Duffel - 70L was $199 now $98 @ REI

Black Hole Duffel - 70L was $199 now $98 @ REI
My partner owns this duffel, and when I say it’s big, it’s big. You can fit enough in here to last you probably a month of vacationing, and it’s got straps you can attach to turn it into a backpack, too. It’s so durable and long lasting — my partner has had this for years and it still looks brand new. I don’t think this amazing 50% off deal is going to stick around.

R1 Women’s Daily Zip-Neck Pullover was $129 now $76 @ REI

R1 Women’s Daily Zip-Neck Pullover was $129 now $76 @ REI
This is the fleece I wore hiking up Mount Fuji. It kept me super warm even on the brisk midnight hike to the summit. It’s tight-fitting to keep all the warm air in, so if you want something with a bit more room, I’d recommend sizing up. Although this is such a good deal I don’t think it’ll be available for much longer — I’d hurry and add it to my cart now!

In preparation for winter, I’d definitely pay the most attention to the Glacier Down Jacket. I can’t believe how cheap this item is, especially this close to when you’d be needing such a thick jacket.

Patagonia’s down jackets are so amazing at keeping you warm. I don’t think I’ll ever purchase a different brand when it comes to down jackets, because mine is so flawless, even after years of use. These deals won’t be around for long — snap them up before they sell out.
