Follow the steps below to learn how to change the background picture on your Echo Show. Make sure you have the image you want to display saved your smartphone's camera roll before getting started. It would make the process faster for the image to be a recent image, but you can use any picture saved on your phone.
Step 1: Open the Alexa app. Press the three horizontal bars in the upper left-hand corner to reveal the side menu, and select Settings, then Device Settings.
Step 2: Select the Echo Show device you want to change the background of from your list of Alexa-enabled devices.
Step 3: Scroll down until you see setting option labeled Home Screen Background.
Step 4: Select the photo you wish to make your background from your smartphone. It will appear on the next screen, and give you the option to resize it to fit the Show's screen.
Step 5: Press Upload. The photo should appear on the Echo Show's display.
There's no limit to how many times or how often you can change the background of your Echo Show. Whenever you have an image you'd like to see upon entering your home or kitchen, follow the steps above to make it seen.
