On the lookout for a mattress that's kind on the environment as well as your back? Well you're in luck, as you can currently save up to 20% on mattresses and bedding at Avocado, the top organic mattress manufacturer.
The top deal is on the Avocado Luxury Organic Mattress, which offers savings of up to $1,520. Starting at $3,299 (was $3,799), this mattress certainly is on the premium side, but offers eco-luxury for those with larger budgets.
Meanwhile, the brand's flagship mattress is the Avocado Green is enjoying an up to $605 reduction, and starting at $1,189 (was $1,399), it's a much more affordable option. We named the Avocado Green as one of this year's best mattresses on the market and found its firm build to be perfect for back sleepers, heavier sleepers, and couples. There's also a vegan version that ditches the wool.
All Avocado mattresses come with a year's trial, a money-back guarantee, and hassle-free returns. A 25-year warranty applies to most of the brand's beds, too. We track sale prices each month and keep this guide updated with the best Avocado deals when we see them. We'll also share information about when to buy to get the biggest discounts, such as the upcoming Black Friday mattress sales.
The best Avocado mattress sales for November
Avocado Green Mattress: from $1,399 $1,189 at Avocado
The Avocado Green is the brand's flagship model and one of the best organic mattresses on the market, and includes layers of wool, latex, and springs to deliver a cool, supportive sleep surface. In our Avocado Green review, we were very impressed with this model and would recommend it especially to back or stomach sleepers, due to the firmer feel. There's also a Vegan version with no wool, for the same price. A queen size is currently $1,699 (was $1,999), $100 cheaper than it was last month.
Avocado Vegan Mattress deal: from $1,399 $1,299 at Avocado
This is the vegan version of the flagship Avocado Green mattress, and has a very similar design, with the same certified organic latex, and zoned pocket coils, but, crucially, instead of wool, there's a layer of cotton. That makes this mattress suitable for those avoiding animal products. It retains the same pricing as the non-vegan version, so a queen size is £1,699 right now.
Avocado Organic Luxury Mattress: from $3,799 $3,039 at Avocado
This is Avocado's top-of-the-line mattress, made with 17 layers of eco-friendly comfort plus 3,136 individually-pocketed coils. That's outrageously lavish. You can opt for standard firmness or upgrade to the plush version for an extra cost. A standard queen size Avocado Organic Luxury Mattress is currently selling for $3,679, which is over $300 cheaper than it was last month. However, we've seen it go as low as $3,509 earlier this year. Yes, this is a splurge, but if you want the very best that Avocado has to offer, this is the mattress for you.
Avocado Green organic bedding sale: save 10% at Avocado
Avocado is currently running a 10% saving on all its bedding including sheets, pillowcases, protectors, duvets, blankets and throws. The focus is on using naturally breathable materials to help you sleep healthier, with top picks including the Avocado Molded Latex Pillow, infused with charcoal for cooling and hygiene.
Avocado Suvin bedding sale: save 50% at Avocado
If you're after some sheets to go with your new bed, or simply to upgrade to some organic bedding, then these Superfine Suvin Sheets are for you. As the name suggests, they are made with Indian Suvin Cotton, one of the world's rarest cotton varieties. They are available in 600 and 1,000 thread count varieties, however, the 1,000 thread count versions are currently sold out. This deal is ending soon so act quick to bag yourself some rare sheets. It's worth noting that all sales are final, however you are still entitled to a 1-year warranty.
Avocado Hemp bedding sale: save 50% at Avocado
Avocado's GOTS-certified organic Hemp Bed Sheets are designed to stay fresh and comfortable all night long. The material is similar in texture to linen, but gets softer with every wash. A queen size set is currently reduced to $245 (was $489) and all sales are final.
What is the best Avocado mattress to buy?
The Avocado Eco Mattress is the brand's cheapest one. It launched in January 2022 but has since seen a slight increase in price. It now starts from $699 for the twin size, and $1,169 for a queen size (was $1,299).
For most people, the top-selling Avocado Green Mattress will be your best bet, and it sits highly in our best organic mattress guide too. Crafted from organic cotton, wool and latex, it starts at $1,189 and delivers an all-natural blend of comfort and support if you track down an Avocado Mattress promo code.
If you’re looking to avoid animal-derived materials altogether, you can opt for the Avocado Vegan Mattress – it’s the same product at the same price (starting from $1,299), but without any wool. Or there's the Avocado Latex mattress, which Avocado says is its most sustainable mattress yet; it starts at $2,799 without a discount code.
For those who want to sleep in eco-friendly luxury, there's the Avocado Organic Luxury mattress. It comes in two firmness levels and consists of up to 17 layers of organic and natural materials. It's also Avocado's priciest mattress, starting at $3,299.
For little ones, you can choose between the Avocado Green Crib Mattress ($439), or the Avocado Luxury Organic Crib Mattress ($1,379), both of which boast the same GOTS-certified organic status as Avocado’s full-size offerings. The main difference is that the Luxe is sprung, while the Crib has a simple latex and coconut husk construction.
Avocado’s mattresses are great for both side and front sleepers, and can be specified with or without a pillow top. If you prefer yours to be softer or firmer, you can also pick up a plush or firm Avocado mattress topper to tailor it.
For an alternative model that's comfy, cooling and that also uses natural materials, read our Saatva Classic mattress review for a good comparison, as well as our Saatva vs Avocado in-depth look. As we explain in our guide to the Saatva mattress sale, you can usually save $200 on the Classic without the need for a discount code.

This month's best Avocado mattress deals
1. Avocado Green Mattress deals
The best Avocado mattress overall – from $1,299
Sizes: Twin to Cal King | Depth: 11 or 13 inches | Turn: No | Filling : Latex foam and pocket spring | Firmness: 7/10 (standard); 6/10 (pillow top) | Trial: 365 days | Guarantee: 25 years | RRP: $1,399 - $2,599
Avocado’s flagship Green Mattress is a great choice for anyone after a new mattress, but it’ll be especially appealing to eco-conscious individuals looking to reduce the impact they have on the Earth.
Made from organic cotton, wool and latex, you won’t have to worry about where Avocado’s materials have come from. You won’t be sacrificing comfort either, and the Green has up to 1414 coils in five ergonomic zones for extra support – plus you can spec your bed with a two-inch pillow top if you want some extra luxury.
However, what we really like about the Green Mattress is that you don’t actually have to pay a huge premium for buying sustainably. The Green Mattress costs much the same as its rivals, but has the eco-cred to appeal to a whole new audience. So, if you can buy sustainably and not pay through the nose, why not?
For an equally plush (but not organic mattress), take a look at the DreamCloud range. These hybrids are cheaper yet no less comfy, and they're often on offer. Check out our round-up of all the best DreamCloud mattress sales and discounts for the latest savings.
2. Avocado Vegan Mattress deals
The best Avocado mattress for vegans – from $1,299
Sizes: Twin to Cal King | Depth: 11" or 13" | Turn: No | Filling : Latex foam and pocket spring | Firmness: 7/10 (standard); 6/10 (pillow top) | Trial: 365 days | Guarantee: 25 years | Price (MSRP): $1,399 – $2,599
The Avocado Vegan Mattress caters to anyone going 100% plants by omitting the organic wool found in the Green. In the Vegan it’s replaced by organic cotton batting, while the wool’s fire retardant properties are replaced by a layer of natural hydrated silica.
Again, we love how Avocado charges the same price for both the Green and the Vegan, meaning you don’t have to pay a premium for following your lifestyle – and seeing as both offerings are exactly the same minus the wool, that’s only fair.
3. Avocado Latex Mattress deals
The best cooling Avocado mattress – from $2,699
Sizes: Twin to Cal King | Depth: 9" | Turn: No | Filling : Organic latex | Firmness: 7.5/10 (medium firm) | Trial: 365 days | Guarantee: 25 years | Price (MSRP): $2,399 – $4,998
Avocado's first all-latex foam mattress is made from nine inches of organic Dunlop latex, plus organic cotton and organic wool. It's the company's most sustainable mattress: the foam comes from Avocado's organic farms, and provides firm, contouring support; while GOTS organic certified wool and cotton sits on the supporting layers. In fact, because it's made exclusively with natural, organic, materials, the Avocado Latex mattress is entirely biodegradable.
At 7.5/10 on the firmness scale, it provides provides cool, motion-isolating support, with "just a touch of gentle give". This mattress is ideal for active couples, back or stomach sleepers, and tall/large combination sleepers. It isn't cheap, but if you're concerned about your footprint, this is the best Avocado mattress to choose.
4. Avocado Crib Mattress deals
The best Avocado mattress for babies – $439
Sizes: Crib | Depth: 6" | Turn: Yes | Filling : Latex, coconut husk | Firmness: Firm/medium-firm | Trial: 30 days | Guarantee: 25 years | Price (MSRP): $349
If Avocado's Luxe Crib mattress below is a bit pricey – and it’s certainly not cheap – Avocado's basic crib mattress presents a more affordable alternative. Made to the same exacting standards but without the springs, the Avocado Crib is a genuinely affordable way to kit out your baby with a premium mattress without breaking the bank.
Like the Luxe, the Crib features a flippable design which is suited to the changing needs of your baby – a firm side, supported by three inches of coconut fiber-infused latex for infants, and a softer side for toddlers.
For the price, there’s not a lot we can complain about, and while it might still be pricier than your standard crib mattress, Avocado’s Crib maintains the 100% organic natural materials status – not to mention a 25-year guarantee.
5. Avocado Luxe Crib Mattress deals
The best Avocado mattress for kids – $1,379
Sizes: Crib | Depth: 6" | Turn: Yes | Filling : Latex foam, spring, coconut husk | Firmness: Firm/medium-firm | Trial: 100 days | Guarantee: 25 years | Price (MSRP): $1,379
Avocado’s Luxury Organic Crib Mattress is for those that want to give their kids the very best start to life – with the amount of time our little ones sleep (or not), it’s important to give them the perfect place to do it.
A hybrid construction means your pride and joy will have perfect support as they grow, and Avocado have future-proofed the Luxury Crib by coming up with a flippable design: on one side it’s pretty firm, which is great for infants, and the other is a little softer, perfect for toddlers.
However, all this comes at a cost – the Luxury Crib is almost as expensive as a queen-size Green or Vegan. But, on the other hand, the 25-year guarantee means that you might be able to bring up your whole family on the same mattress, so it’s certainly a worthwhile investment when you have a discount code to lower the price.
This month's best Avocado mattress topper deals
If you can't stretch your budget to an Avocado mattress, consider an Avocado bed topper instead - they're the next best thing. Designed to rest on top of your existing mattress, and like the very best mattress toppers, they contour to your body, adding cushioning and luxury support.
Avocado makes three different mattress toppers, all of which come in six sizes - twin through to Cal king; and with a choice of plush or firm comfort levels. (If your existing mattress is too soft, choose the firm option; if it's too firm, choose the plush option.)
The newest Avocado Eco Organic mattress topper starts at $199 without a discount code and consists of 2 or 3 inches of 100% GOLS certified organic latex in your choice of medium or plush.
Alternatively, the Avocado Alpaca Wool Plush mattress topper (from $549) uses Alpaca fiber, which is softer than silk and rarer than cashmere. It's also one of the most eco-friendly natural fibers on earth, because and alpaca need less food and water than other fiber-producing animals.
Avocado also features in our best comforters guide as a top pick if you want an organic bed covering.
Do you need an Avocado Mattress discount code?
Yes, to save money you'll need an Avocado mattress promo code or discount code which should be applied at checkout. There are often a variety to choose between, and most Avocado mattress promo codes can't be used in combination: it's either one or the other (for example, you might be able to either get money off a mattress, or add two free pillows to your order).
However, if you're looking to buy a mattress and a bed frame, Avocado will let you use both discount codes. That means that if there's an Avocado mattress sale running, you could save over $400 in total with that particular deal.
Whatever you want to buy though, you'll always find the best Avocado mattress promo codes here on this page.
Avocado Black Friday and Cyber Monday mattress deals
While sales happen all year round, the Black Friday deals (and the Cyber Monday mattress deals that follow) traditionally bring the lowest prices of the year.
So what happened at Avocado? In previous sales, this organic mattress brand knocked a blanket 10% off all its mattresses. The flagship Avocado Green mattress and the Avocado Vegan mattress (which is very similar, but doesn't use wool) had already got a price cut of around 5% on all sizes, and the extra 10% off could be stacked on top.
In the 2021 Avocado Black Friday mattress sale, there was up to $200 off mattresses. Rewind to 2022, and to 2020, and the best deal was $200 off the Avocado Latex Mattress, and you could get two free pillows with your mattress order. All three of Avocado's excellent and eco-friendly (but pricey) mattress toppers also got a $50 price cut (and we may see some bigger savings in this year's Black Friday mattress topper sales) as well as a $250 discount on Avocado bed frames. Alternatively, if you wanted to buy a mattress, you could combine the bed frame offer with an Avocado mattress promo code to save over $400 on both.
