Click Frenzy 2025: FAQs

What is Click Frenzy?

Click Frenzy started way back in 2012 when CEO Grant Arnott saw the huge impact events like Black Friday and Cyber Monday had on US consumers. Thus, Arnott created Click Frenzy, which has evolved into five mega-sales events every year, with Click Frenzy Travel in March, Click Frenzy Mayhem in May, Click Frenzy Tech Frenzy in June, and lastly, Click Frenzy The Main Event in November.

When is Click Frenzy 2025?

The next Click Frenzy event is called Click Frenzy Tech Frenzy, and it'll kick off at 7pm AEDT on Tuesday, June 24 and run until Friday, June 27 comes to a close.

That said, we have seen several retailers release their discounts some earlier than the official start date, so you could score a bargain or two before the sale starts. As always, we’ll be around and listing the best tech deals right here as retailers make them available.

How does the Click Frenzy sale work?

Through partnerships with dozens of retailers, Click Frenzy collates deals into a single website where you can easily scroll and shop to see what's available. You don't need to be a member to access the sale, however, Click Frenzy does have a free membership that you can sign up for on its website.

There are perks to being a member, such as getting exclusive access to Click Frenzy's popular 99% off deals. Past deals have included a PS5 for just AU$6 and a Dyson AirWrap for just AU$1. These discounts pop up at random times during the sale and have limited stock, so it pays to act fast (and click fast) during the event. Click Frenzy members also get access to the deals via the website 30 minutes before everyone else.

Are Click Frenzy deals better than Black Friday?

We've been following Click Frenzy and Black Friday sales for quite some time now, and it's safe to say, in our experience, that Black Friday sales are better than Click Frenzy.

There are some factors to this, but mainly, this is due to most Aussie retailers getting involved in Black Friday / Cyber Weekend sales, rather than Click Frenzy's online events. Typically, Amazon Australia and eBay Australia don't get involved in Click Frenzy deals, and they usually save their best deals until Black Friday proper.

Other notable Aussie stores, such as The Good Guys, have joined in the Click Frenzy sales in the past, but they don’t always participate. However, they always participate in Black Friday sales.
