Barbie with ASL details
Barbie with ASL has also been released on Max. Grounded in research and feedback from the Deaf community, as well as counsel from community leaders, Barbie with ASL was produced for Max featuring ASL performer Leila Hanaumi (Deaf Austin Theatre’s The Laramie Project, ASL cover for Tove Lo in “True Romance” music video). This level of accessibility for deaf viewers is a massive upgrade over the typical subtitles, and it would be incredible if Barbie's ASL version sets a trend for blockbuster movies going forward.
