Target PS5 restock sold out — how to snag your console when stock returns
Target is sold out of PS5, for now
Update 2:50 p.m. ET: Today's Target PS5 restock is now sold out. The retailer is not taking any more orders of Sony's next-gen gaming machine at the moment. Make sure to follow our PS5 restock coverage for the latest inventory updates.
Did you miss the last Target PS5 restock? Well, fear not as restocks are seemingly becoming more frequent, so we'll keep you updated the minute we have more information about the next drop.
Today's restock was rumoured after our colleagues over at TechRadar received photos of what appear to be next-gen consoles that Target is readying for sale. It seems at least some of these consoles are now making their way into customers hands.
However, we don't yet know if the retailer sold through it's entire fresh allocation of PS5, or if they potentially held some back to sell at a later date. There is a chance that we'll see another restock soon, though at this point it seems unlikely to be this week.

PS5: $499 @ Target

PS5 Digital Edition: $399 @ Target
The PS5 Digital console lacks a 4K UDH Blu-ray disc drive. As a result, it's slightly thinner than its counterpart. It also sells for $399 ($100 less) and includes a PS5 DualSense controller.
Earlier this week, we heard that Target PS5 restock was happening on Monday. While there was some stock available on Tuesday, it was very limited and most shoppers couldn't even add the console to their shopping cart.
Target dropped PS5 stock twice this week, both today and earlier in the week on Tuesday. Though the earlier restock was a bit of a disaster with most shoppers not even being able to add the console to their shopping cart.
There have also been online whispers that Target will have an Xbox Series X restock today as well. So if you're after the next-gen Xbox you might still have a chance at some point today.
