R-U ready?! It is time to watch RuPaul’s Drag Race season 14 online (even without cable). The drag queen competition series returns to VH1 for what's being called "the most game-changing season ever," thanks to a new twist.

RuPaul’s Drag Race season 14 start time, channel

RuPaul’s Drag Race season 14 debuts today (Friday, January 7) on VH1.
It airs at 8 p.m. ET/PT

So what's different about RuPaul’s Drag Race season 14? Well, among the cast of 14 queens is the show's first-ever heterosexual, cisgender male contestant!

Over the past few years, Drag Race has been challenging the notion of who and what a drag queen is. Last year, the flagship show included the first trans male contestant, Gottmik, who identifies as pansexual. The most recent season of RuPaul's Drag Race UK featured the franchise's first cisgender woman, Victoria Stone. And RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 6 was won by Kylie Sonique Love, the first out trans woman to win the crown.

However, this will mark the first time that a contestant does not identify as LGBTQ. Check out the full RuPaul’s Drag Race season 14 cast list below.

The new installment will also bring the star power to the guest judges table, with Lizzo, Jennifer Lopez, Alicia Keys and Taraji P. Henson all set to make appearances.
