How to watch Rick and Morty season 5 episode 8 online, start time, channel and more
This is why you don't leave Rick home alone
It's time to watch Rick and Morty season 5 episode 8 online, and we're readying ourselves for a different kind of episode. Yes, previous editions of this season have grossed us out, but tonight's episode (at least judging by the preview clip) looks to leave us in our feels.
Episode 8 of Rick and Morty season 5 will broadcast at 11 p.m. ET today (Sunday, August 8).
It's on Cartoon Network's [adult swim] block, and it's titled "Rickternal Friendshine of the Spotless Mort."
Yes, we've got an old friend of Rick's returning, and the sentiments are getting turned up. Then again, this week's title was a clue that we'd have much more wholesome feelings than last week offered.
We won't spoil the details here, you can click on that video below if you want to or not, but the big news out of this episode is that Rick has been left to his own devices. And by devices, we mean his literal devices and his own space, as the family's gone on vacation.
And so he's pulling something out of his garage that we haven't seen in a fair bit, and it looks like memory is about to be played with. Or at least that's what the title "Rickternal Friendshine of the Spotless Mort." makes us think, as we remember the Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet-led movie about people trying to erase their own memories to get away from the past.
All in all, it looks like a much better experience than last week's weird anime-inspired experience. Don't get me wrong, I was elated to learn that Morty didn't go full Shinji and become "the worst," but that episode wasn't one of their best.
