Today is the day to watch the gymnastics women's all-around live stream at the Tokyo Olympics, which was rocked by the withdrawal of Simone Biles. The event has already taken place and the all-around champion is ... well, that's a spoiler, so you can scroll down the page to find out. But the women's all-around will be rebroadcast in primetime on NBC.
USA Gymnastics cited mental health in the announcement that Biles was sitting out the all-around competition.
“We wholeheartedly support Simone’s decision and applaud her bravery in prioritizing her well-being,” the statement said. “Her courage shows, yet again, why she is a role model for so many.”
That ended Biles' bid to repeat her achievement from the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Games and become the first woman to win back-to-back all-arounds in 53 years. It has not been determined if Biles will compete in any of the individual event finals next week.
The individual all-around is one of the events in the Tokyo Olympics Gymnastics competition. It features the athletes taking on all four apparatuses: floor, beam, uneven bars and the vault.
Team USA's Sunisa Lee was already set for the all-around after qualifying in third place. Taking Biles' place is Jade Carey, who qualified in ninth place.

With a virtual private network, or VPN, you can appear to be surfing the web from your home town (or somewhere that blackouts won't hit), and access the same streaming services you already paid for. They're totally legal, inexpensive and easy to use.
Not sure which VPN is right for you? We've tested many different services and our pick for the best VPN overall is ExpressVPN. It offers superb speeds and excellent customer service. But you've got other VPN options as well.
We think speed, security and simplicity make ExpressVPN second to none. During our tests, we saw fast connection times, and we're impressed by the service's ability to access more than 3,000 services spread out across 160 locations in 94 countries.
Using a VPN is incredibly simple.
