Presidents’ Day mattress sales 2025: Our favorite deals still live today

The Saatva Classic is the best hybrid mattress we've tested for most sleepers. It scored a 5/5 in our Saatva Classic mattress review with our reviewers praising it for pressure relief (less aches and pains while sleeping) and lower back support. The Classic also looks like a luxury hotel mattress and the handcrafted build quality is very good. It won't support weights over 600lbs (heavy couples could look at the DreamCloud below instead), but otherwise this is an excellent mattress that suits all sleep positions. Saatva's Presidents' Day mattress sale takes $400 off all mattresses over $1,000, bringing a queen down to $1,699 (was $2,099.) This is the cheapest price we expect it to sell for this year.

It will get you a queen Nectar Classic for $649 and a free mattress protector, sheet set, and two cooling pillows worth $599. That’s outstanding value for money on the best memory foam mattress of the year. Testers for our Nectar Classic Memory Foam Mattress review found the Nectar Classic supportive for all sleep positions and most body types. It relieves aches and pains by contouring the body and removing all pressure points around the shoulders and hips. Super-comfy and it sleeps fairly cool.

If you like the Saatva but have a smaller budget, or you and your partner weigh over 600lbs combined, the DreamCloud is a good alternative. It doesn't compare to the Saatva in terms of overall build quality and performance, but considering it costs $665 for a queen versus $1,799 for a Saatva, the DreamCloud Luxury Hybrid is great value. Our DreamCloud mattress review team found it comfy for stomach and back sleeping, but lightweight side sleepers should consider the Zinus below instead. DreamCloud's Presidents' Day sale is the same DreamCloud mattress sale we see year-round, but it's still one of the best deals you'll find during the Presidents' Day sales.

The Zinus Green Tea Mattress is one of the best cheap mattresses for easing general aches and pains. Because it's on the softer side of medium firm we recommend it to side and back sleepers of a lighter to average weight. If you're heavier or prefer a firm memory foam mattress then the best Presidents' Day deal for you is 53% off the Siena Memory Foam mattress (queen priced $349 at Siena Sleep). Otherwise this Zinus deal is excellent value with a queen down to just $195 with free shipping – that undercuts official Zinus prices by some margin. We haven't found it cheaper elsewhere online yet.

You rarely get certified latex mattresses at this price, making Amazon's queen size Awara 10" Natural Hybrid Mattress deal one of the best we've seen in this year's Presidents' Day sales so far. A queen is discounted to $664 (was $949) making it fantastic value for money in the mid-range market. It's now $1 cheaper than the DreamCloud Hybrid (#3) and is the better choice of the two for hot sleepers and those with shoulder or back pain who want to enjoy the natural pressure reliving benefits of latex. We predict this deal will be popular so don't wait too long if you think it's the best option for your sleep.

The Helix Midnight Luxe is our top-ranked mattress for side sleepers, but if it's out of your price range, the mid-range Helix Midnight is a sound alternative. We also recommend the original Helix Midnight for side sleepers who like more of that sink-in softness, as the Midnight Luxe has a lifted feel. In our Helix Midnight Mattress review, we praised its soothing pressure relief and excellent motion isolation. While you can buy it now for 20% off plus a pair of free pillows, there's a chance we'll see that discount increase to 25% or 27% the closer we get to Presidents' Day, potentially dropping the price of a queen Helix Midnight by another $100. A $100 discount may not seem like much, but considering how rare Tempur-Pedic mattress sales are for current models, any savings is a good one. This is the lowest price for any Tempur-Pedic mattress that doesn't come rolled and packed in a box. In our Tempur-Pedic Tempur-Adapt review, we rated it high for pressure relief and overall support. (Tempur Material is amazing for soothing those aches and pains.) It also has sturdy edges, which isn't common praise for all-foam mattresses. On the other hand, it traps heat so consider upgrading to one of Tempur's cooling models if you're a hot sleeper. (Tempur-Breeze mattresses are $300 off right now.) The amenities are weak compared to other luxury brands (90-night trial and 10-year warranty), but free in-home delivery is a nice perk.

Our lead tester for our Birch Natural mattress review found this organic mattress to be ideal for back sleepers, but stomach sleepers should feel well supported on this bed too thanks to the medium-firm feel. The Serta Perfect Sleeper mattress was so named because it's meant to be perfect for any sleep style. At only $399.99 for a queen that's a big claim from a budget mattress, but with a plush Euro-top cushioning side sleepers and zoned lumbar support for back sleepers, we think this is a good all-rounder. If you have a bigger budget the DreamCloud Mattress will provide more durable support, but this is a good choice for a guest room.

This entry-level all-foam mattress is 20% off in the Tuft & Needle Presidents' Day sale, knocking a queen to just $716 (was $895). The lead tester in our Tuft & Needle Original Mattress review team found this all-foam bed supported side and back sleeping, with a gentle sink that was both pressure relieving and easy to move around on (the Bear Original Mattress is a similar choice.) 2. Zinus Green Tea Memory Foam Mattress (queen): was $599 now $195 at Amazon
The Zinus Green Tea offers body-contouring plushness for side sleepers and consistently low price tag. In our Zinus Green Tea Memory Foam Mattress review we praised its pressure relief, but found it did sleep a little warm. The Layla Essential is a hidden gem, quite literally — it’s difficult to find on Layla’s website. But this is Layla's most budget-friendly bed and for Presidents' Day, you can get $300 off plus free shipping, a 120-night sleep trial, a 10-year warranty and free pillows. Our Layla Essential mattress review found this bed delivers great support for back sleepers while maintaining a cooler feel overnight (unusual, for a low-cost all-foam design.) But be aware that it doesn’t have the best edge support or motion isolation.

During testing for our Linenspa Memory Foam Hybrid Mattress review, we found this budget-friendly hybrid to be perfect for guest rooms and growing children. At just 8” tall it's below our recommend mattress thickness for adults, but the firmer feel will suit lightweight stomach sleepers on a budget. And while it won't be the most durable or supportive choice, its a reliable bed for anyone needing mattress for short-term use. The Allswell mattress is one of the most affordable hybrid mattresses on the market, with our Allswell mattress review testers praising its low price and strong support. Side sleepers, however, will need something softer (or consider adding a mattress topper — we've rounded up some deals below.) However, while this sink-in softness offers great motion isolation, it does create lackluster edge support. In our Bear Original mattress review we found this affordable all-foam bed delivers excellent value for money, with a medium-firm feel that supports most sleepers. Yes, it can sleep a little hot, but if you have money in the budget you can upgrade to the Celliant-infused cover (the same cover that earned high praise in our Bear Elite Hybrid Mattress review.) And with two firmness levels to choose from, our Saatva Contour5 Mattress review team found it suits a range of sleep styles. Although not a cooling mattress per se, in our Siena Memory Foam Mattress review we found the temperature regulation much better than we had expected for a budget all-foam bed. At eight inches tall the Sunrising Bedding mattress is a little under our recommended mattress thickness of 10 inches, but the firm and durable latex foams used in the construction should be comfortable for back and stomach sleeping. Alternatively, this is a great choice for a guest room. Currently only the twin size is reduced (now $333.95 down from $365.99), but while we're keeping our fingers crossed for a sale on the queen, $429.95 is still a bargain for a latex bed and you get a 120-night sleep trial.

2. Awara Natural Hybrid Mattress (queen): was $949 now $664.30 at Amazon
In our Awara Natural Hybrid Mattress review we found this latex hybrid bed delivers a firmer support that's surprisingly versatile, although the bouncy feel allows for more motion isolation than we'd like. Awara recently refreshed its mattress line-up, meaning this old model is a steal on Amazon: just $664.30 for a queen (was 949.) And you still get a lifetime warranty and a 365-night trial.

The i8 with sleep tracking, automatic pressure relief and adjustable firmness was on sale for $2,379 (was $3,339) for a twin and $2,799 (was $3,999) for a queen size.
