Today's TV deals can make buying a new 4K TV more affordable than ever — if you know where to look. I've been tracking TV deals for over a decade and I know how to spot a good deal from a mediocre everyday discount.
Currently, Best Buy is offering some of the best TV deals if you're shopping on a budget. The retailer has select smart TVs on sale from $59. That's one of the lowest starting prices we've seen for smart TVs. Meanwhile, Walmart has 4K TVs on sale from $148. The sale includes some of the best OLED TVs we've tested, such as the LG C4.
To help you find more of the best TV deals, I'm rounding up today's top discounts from all of your favorite retailers including Best Buy, Amazon, Walmart, and more. From budget 4K TVs to the best TV of 2024, here are the best cheap TV deals today.

TV sale: deals from $59 @ Best Buy
Best Buy has smart TVs on sale for as low as $59. Keep in mind, the cheap TVs tend to be smaller, 1080p models (which are more suitable for a children's room or guest room). However, the sale also includes larger sets. These are among the cheapest TVs we've seen from Best Buy. By comparison, Amazon is offering a similar sale with prices from $69.

Insignia 42" F20 Fire TV: was $179 now $139 @ Best Buy
If you want a smart TV on the cheap, Best Buy has the Insignia 42-inch F20 Fire TV on sale at its lowest price ever. The TV offers DTS Studio Sound and it comes with a voice remote, which lets you control it with the sound of your voice. Multiple sizes are on sale, but this 42-inch model is the least expensive TV deal of the bunch. Note that it's a 1080p model.
Insignia 43" F30 4K Fire TV: was $199 now $149 @ Amazon
The Insignia F30 (2024) is one of the cheapest 4K TV deals you can get. It features HDR10 support, DTS Studio sound, and a voice remote with Alexa built-in. It's not always on sale, but right now you can get it a fraction of its normal price.
Amazon 40" 2-Series Fire TV: was $249 now $169 @ Amazon
If you don't need 4K resolution, this 2-Series is a budget smart TV with 1080p resolution and support for HDR 10, HLG, and Dolby Digital Audio. The included Fire TV Alexa Voice Remote lets you find your favorite content, get sports scores, control smart home devices, and more with the sound of your voice.
Roku TV 43" Select 4K TV: was $249 now $219 @ Best Buy

Amazon's 4-Series of Fire TVs are a less expensive option to the Omni Series. However, they still offer features like HDR support (HDR10/HLG) and Alexa integration (via the remote control). Plus, it operates on Amazon's Fire OS, which makes streaming your favorite apps easier than ever.

55-inch is the new 42-inch, so it's no surprise that the majority of TV deals out there are for larger sets in this size range. Whereas a 55-inch 4K set used to cost over $1,000 a few years ago, these days you can get a solid 55-inch 4K set for around $350 or less.

Editor's Choice! The Roku Plus Series is an outstanding value. In our Roku Plus Series 4K QLED TV review, we said it offers a great smart interface, HDR color, and excellent sound at an affordable price. The Bravia 3 sits at the tail end of Sony's 2024 TV lineup, sporting a much more budget price point. It uses a 60Hz refresh rate on Sony's 4K HDR X1 processor, but gamers will enjoy the ALLM support and several PS5-specific features, like Auto HDR Tone Mapping and Auto Game Picture Mode. Samsung 55" The Frame 4K QLED TV: was $1,097 now $929 @ Walmart
What if your TV could hide the fact it was a TV? The Frame by Samsung does just that, disguising itself as a piece of art whenever it's not in use. That's on top of a 4K QLED display, HDR10+, Dolby Atmos support, and all the smart features afforded by Samsung's Tizen OS. This is the cheapest price we've seen for the 55-inch model.

Finding a name-brand 70-inch TV at this price point is very rare. However, Walmart currently has the LG UQ70 series TV on sale for $498. Aside from its giant screen, it features LG's a5 Gen5 AI Processor for upscaling regular content to 4K. You also get HDR10/HLG support and built-in support for Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, Apple AirPlay, and HomeKit.

Amazon 65" Omni 4K QLED TV: was $799 now $689 @ Amazon
Unlike its predecessor, which used LED-LCD technology, this 2022 revamp sports a QLED display, which gives it a wider color gamut and uptick in brightness/contrast. In our Amazon Fire TV Omni QLED review, we said the TV is a solid pick for anyone who wants to stick within Amazon’s ecosystem. It features, HDR10/HLG/HDR10+ Adaptive/Dolby Vision IQ support, full array local dimming, and four HDMI ports (one HDMI 2.1 with eARC). You also get Alexa support baked in.

Released earlier this year, the Sony Bravia 7 Mini-LED TV takes the best of what makes Sony displays so sought-after and makes it value intensive. It's the cheapest Mini-LED in Sony's 2024 TV lineup, which makes it perfect for some incredible savings. The Bravia 7 comes kitted with an ATSC 3.0 tuner for NextGen TV access, plus support for almost all of the HDR formats, including Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HLG.
Hisense 100" U76N 4K QLED TV: was $2,999 now $1,799 @ Best Buy
At a whopping 100 inches, the Hisense U76N ULED is a monster to behold. It leverages some exciting new specs, most tantalizing of all being gaming-centric proponents like a 144Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision Gaming support for cinematic experiences at over 60fps. Several other enhancements, like WiFi 6e, Google TV OS, and IMAX Enhanced, make it the perfect entertainment solution and an utter steal.

LG 48" B4 Series 4K OLED TV: was $1,499 now $649 @ Best Buy
Lowest price! The B4 is LG's entry-level OLED TV model for 2024. This TV supports Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos and has improved picture quality thanks to LG's A8 processor. For gamers, it features four HDMI 2.1 ports, a 120Hz refresh rate, a brightness booster and Game Optimizer Mode. The 48-inch model is a Best Buy exclusive.
LG 42" C4 4K OLED TV: was $1,499 now $946 @ Walmart
The C4 is LG's current flagship OLED TV. It's powered by LG's A9 processor and features a 120Hz panel, Dolby Vision/ HDR10/HLG support, built-in Amazon Alexa, four HDMI 2.1 ports and Apple AirPlay 2 support. It's also one of the few OLED TVs that can natively accept a 144Hz input from a PC. In our LG C4 OLED TV review, we said content looked colorful and dazzlingly bright on the new C4 series. It's the best version we've seen of the company's top-selling OLED TV range. Note: Amazon offers the same prices.

Samsung 55" S90C OLED 4K TV: was $1,899 now $1,347 @ Amazon
The Samsung S90C is a slightly cheaper alternative to the S95C. However, both TVs use the same QD-OLED display and are great for gamers with low latency, HDMI 2.1 ports, and support for 4K/144Hz. The only major difference is that the S95C gets brighter, which makes it a better pick for rooms with lots of ambient light. Otherwise, the S90C is an amazing value that'll save you a few hundred bucks. It packs HDR 10+/HLG support, Amazon Alexa/Google Assistant/SmartThings compatibility, and built-in Alexa voice assistant.

Samsung 55" S95C 4K OLED TV: was $2,197 now $1,597 @ Amazon
Samsung's next-gen QD-OLED TV is not only slimmer than the previous-gen S95B, but it's also brighter. In our Samsung S95C OLED review, we liked the TV's One Connect Box for cable management and 144Hz refresh rate for PC gaming. The TV's significant boosts to brightness also improved performance across all kinds of content and viewing environments. The Editor's Choice TV is great for movie fans, gamers, and everyone in between. It sports four HDMI 2.1 ports, HDR10+/HLG support, and a 120Hz panel.

Panasonic 65" Z95 4K OLED TV: was $3,199 now $2,999 @ Amazon
The Z95 is Panasonic's new premium OLED TV. In our initial Panasonic Z95 OLED TV review, we called the TV an utter beast with some of the most advanced features of any TV available right now. It's built on LG Display's second-gen MLA panel, which ensures it vast and vibrant brightness potential. It also comes equipped with a 144Hz refresh rate and a slew of gaming features such as HDMI 2.1, VRR, AMD FreeSync Premium, and NVIDIA G-Sync support. It also supports all HDR formats and comes with hands-free Alexa compatibility.
TV buying tips and how to find the best TV deals
- Don't buy a TV with less than 4K resolution. 4K is the standard these days, so unless you see a very cheap 1080p set, try to stick with 4K.
- Likewise, don't buy a TV without "smart" capabilities. This makes it easy to stream content from apps like Roku, Hulu, and Prime Video. If you don't like the idea of owning a smart TV, you can always leave it disconnected from your network (which essentially strips all of its smart features).
- Look for HDR compatible sets. They offer more realistic colors and better contrast. There are 5 HDR formats, but the main ones you want are HDR10, HDR10+, HLG, and Dolby Vision.
- Avoid paying for extended warranties. New TVs include a 1-year warranty and your credit card company usually provides additional protection.
- Stay away from refurbished TVs (unless the savings are massive). The problem with refurbished TVs is that if your TV has more dents and scratches than you anticipated, return shipping is usually on you, and shipping a large TV can get expensive very quickly.
- Look for bargains on older sets: Many 2023 TVs are still on the market. Usually the differences aren't that noticeable to the average buyer, so when possible stick to the previous year's model. You'll find cheaper TV deals that way.

1. Hisense U6K Mini-LED 4K TV
Best budget TV of 2024

The Hisense U8K sits at the top of our list of the best budget TVs of 2024. In our Hisense U6K Mini-LED TV review, we said the Editor's Choice TV is one of the best budget TVs we've tested in years.
For starters, it delivers an outstanding picture for its price tag. Its Mini-LED backlighting offers spectacular contrast while its quantum dot filter ensures well-saturated colors. Tack on Google TV and VRR support for consoles, and you're getting a lot of the best features at a much lower price point that competing TVs.
That said, we did experience some slight fuzziness in HD content like Sunday Night Football and the native refresh rate of 60Hz is a problem for gamers looking to maximize the frame rates of their favorite games. However, those small issues aside, you'll be hard pressed to find a better TV at a lower price point.

2. Roku Plus Series 4K QLED TV
Roku’s first QLED TV is a great bargain

The Roku Plus Series 4K QLED TV is the streaming giant's first foray into TVs after long focusing on software and set-top/plug-in devices. And what an entrance it is. In addition to delivering a ton of screen for its starting price of $499, these TVs also give you surprisingly good picture quality and sound, two things that are usually lackluster in budget sets.
We also like that they don't look cheap. A gray, metal bezel surrounds the screen on all sides, measuring less than an eighth-inch on the left, right, and top. There's also a chrome Roku logo front-and-center.
The TV uses quantum-dot LED technology to produce vivid colors and increased brightness. In our tests, we found that the TV lived up to Roku's claims. Picture vibrancy does start fading as you move away from the center of the screen, but it took a fair distance for the display to look unbearable.

3. Toshiba 55-Inch 4K Fire TV Edition
The most affordable TV with Amazon Alexa inside

The Toshiba C350 4K Fire TV Edition is one of Amazon's budget smart TVs, which have one big selling point: Amazon’s Prime Video and Alexa voice controls are baked right in. In addition to Prime Video’s extensive catalogue of movies and shows, you’ve got one of the best voice assistants on the market as close as your remote. And it’s not some half-measure – the Alexa on your TV can do everything Alexa can do on the Amazon Echo, with skills for smart home control, looking up weather and restaurants and much more. All of this is built into the 55-inch Toshiba 4K TV, which sells for an affordable sub-$500 price.
The switch from last year’s Westinghouse models to Toshiba bring all sorts of improvements, like improved display quality, HDR support and a more refined user experience, but it’s held back by mediocre picture quality and middling audio. Edge-lit backlighting and limited HDR support just drive home the most frustrating thing about most of Amazon’s TV’s — no matter how good Amazon’s Fire TV is as a smart TV platform, the TV also has to stand on its own merits.
In our tests, the C350 produces a good enough picture that you can enjoy what’s on screen without getting annoyed by quality issues. It’s bright enough to watch during the day and the set produces good color.

4. LG A2 4K OLED TV
The best OLED TV value you'll find

Normally on sale for $599, the 48-inch LG A2 4K OLED TV is one of the best TV values you'll find. We praised LG's budget TV for offering a "wonderfully colorful picture and fairly strong audio along with a slick and intuitive interface." Although the A2 has a refresh rate of only 60Hz, fast motion looked clean and fluid except in scenes of extreme business, and was never distracting at all. We also like the TV's low input lag, which gamers will appreciate. (Although gamers should take note that there are no HDMI 2.1 ports).
The A2 boasts incredible picture quality, easily outclassing that of the familiar LCD screens most of us are accustomed to. It supports Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HLG, viewing formats that help make the content you view on the screen look their absolute best. Additionally, it integrates seamlessly with voice assistants like Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, letting you easily navigate your favorite shows and channels with just your voice. The LG webOS platform the TV runs on is great, too.
