Walmart is selling a queen size cooling mattress for under $98 this Presidents' Day, but is it worth buying?

This Presidents' Day has seen some of the most competitive mattress deals we've seen with hundreds of dollars worth of savings rolling out across some of the most prominent retailers. One deal that has caught our eye is a queen-size Zinus Cooling Airflow 8" Hybrid Mattress for $98 at Walmart.

While it's unlikely to match the performance of any of the top recommendations in our best mattress guide there are some interesting features here. The Zinus Cooling Airflow 8" Hybrid is made with individually wrapped coils for support and airflow memory foam to keep you cool while sleeping. That's unusual for a cheap foam mattress.

We think this would be a great buy for a spare bedroom, but if you're sleeping on it every night, you might want to opt for a more durable, luxury feel.

The MSRP for this mattress is $159.99 for a queen, with this new discount bringing it under $100 at $98 which is impressive even for a cheap mattress. As this is an older model, it can't be bought directly from Zinus.
