I've been covering Prime Day TV deals for 11 years — best sales live now on LG OLED, Roku and more

I've vetted the best deals on OLEDs, Mini-LED and more

October Prime Day 2026

Staff picked deals:
1. Quick Links
2. Best value
3. LIVE: latest updates

The first wave of Prime Day TV deals is live and if you're shopping for a new TV — now is the time to hit that buy button. I've been tracking TV deals for over a decade and although Black Friday used to be my go-to holiday for discounts — Amazon has altered the landscape with its Prime Big Deal Days.

One of the best TV deals you'll find today is the Hisense 65-inch U6 Pro Mini-LED 4K TV for just $647. The U6 Pro is one of the best budget TVs we tested this year. It has a Mini-LED panel that produces vibrant colors and its 144Hz display is great for watching sports or playing games as it produces little to no motion blur.

There are plenty more TV deals I recommend and I'll be highlighting them all in our live blog. So make sure to check back frequently and also check out our October Prime Day live blog for deals on all other categories.

Amazon's entire Fire TV line is on sale...

the amazon ember qled 2025 TV

Events like Prime Day are designed for one thing — to sell Amazon products. So naturally, some of the biggest TV discounts happening today are on Amazon's own line of Fire TVs. This includes their budget 1080p line (2-Series) as well as their newer lifestyles TVs (Ember Artline).

Fire TV deals can be found throughout the year, but discounts on the Ember Artline are pretty rare. So if you'r deeply rooted in the Amazon ecosystem, these TVs are worth a look.

This Hisense TV delivers great colors and sound...

Hisense U7SG ULED Mini-LED Google TV on a desk

The U7SG is one of the best Hisense TVs you can buy in 2026. It sits right in the middle of Hisense's lineup and in our Hisense U7SG review we said its colors are great, sound is amazing, and gaming prowess are top-notch. We also found that it's a solid TV in both dark and bright rooms — except for black levels, and shadows, which are too bright. And that brightness was our only nitpick with this TV.

All models are on sale today, but heads up that only the 65-, 75-, and 100-inch models are at current all-time price lows. The 55-inch and 85-inch models have been cheaper before by $49 and $300, respectively. Just make sure to watch a better movie than Sinners. (Ooooh, yes, I went there).

A solid budget TV for gaming and sports...

TCL T7 4K TV

(Image credit: Amazon edited with Gemini)

Here's a TV deal for all you casual gamers on a tight budget. The TCL T7 is a 4K QLED TV that's built for gaming and sports. You get a 144Hz panel with a 288Hz variable gaming refresh rate. There are also four HDMI ports and the TV supports HDR PRO+ with Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR10, and HLG. It's a sweet price for a TV with all these specs.

Could this be the best OLED TV deal of 2026...

Roku Pro OLED TV

Wow. Just wow. This is easily the best OLED TV deal of 2026. Right now Amazon has the new Roku Pro Series 55-inch OLED TV on sale for $699. For $799 you can get the 65-inch version. (I recommend the bigger screen. Trust me, you won't regret it). Those prices are unheard of for an OLED TV.

In fact, the Best Buy exclusive LG 48-inch B6 OLED TV is $699. For the same price you can get the bigger Roku OLED. Our review of the new Roku Pro Series OLED TV is still in the works, but early testing looks promising.

Save up to $1600 on LG Mini LED TVs at Best Buy

An LG 85-inch Class 91A QNED Evo TV

(Image credit: LG / Edited with Gemini)

This deal isn't at Amazon, but it's so good we wanted to share it here. There are some huge savings to be had on LG Class 91A Mini LED Smart TVs at Best Buy right now. The set is available in four different sizes starting at 55-inches and going all the way up to 85-inches. The savings are equally massive, too – that 85-inch set has a whopping $1600 chopped off the price. If you want a Mini LED screen that doesn't cost the Earth, this is a great choice.

Get a 75-inch Samsung Mini LED TV for well under $600

A Samsung 75-Inch Class M70H Series, Mini LED, 4K, Smart TV

(Image credit: Samsung / Edited with Gemini)

Mini LED TVs are an increasingly desirable choice when it comes to upgrading your screen. They offer gorgeous HDR visuals, true-to-life colors and deep blacks. They also perform brilliantly in brightly-lit rooms. There are quite a few on offer in the sales at the moment, from a range of manufacturers, but we particularly like this 75-inch Samsung model which combines sharp visuals and a big screen. For less than $600, it's a real bargain.

Up to $350 off TCL's Designer Series art TVs

A TCL Designer Series TV

(Image credit: TCL / Edited with Gemini)

We featured Amazon's equivalent of Samsung's popular The Frame TV earlier. They're not the only manufacturer getting in on the "art TV" game, however. TCL has its own line of Designer Series TVs which double as glare-free picture frames that display art when not in use. There are several models available, with QLED screens starting at under $700 in these deals. Very nice.

Prices slashed on Sony Bravia TVs at Amazon

A pair of Sony Bravia TVs

(Image credit: Sony / Edited with Gemini)

Sony has long been praised for the high-quality of its Bravia TVs, which offer superb, realistic colors, powerful audio, and naturalistic motion handling. They typically come in at a slightly higher price point than some other manufacturers though – which is why sales like this are so exciting! There's a range of offers available at Amazon right now with big discounts on Bravia TVs in various large screen sizes.

Get $400 off this glare-free Samsung OLED screen

Samsung 65-Inch Class S90H Series, OLED, 4K, Smart TV, 2026 Model

If you have a bright house or apartment then you'll know just how annoying glare can be on your TV. This 65-inch OLED screen from Samsung could be the answer. It promises glare-free viewing even in brightly-lit rooms, with exceptional contrast and 4K AI upscaling. Best of all, you can get it with a $400 discount at Amazon right now.

Amazon's version of The Frame is on sale...

Amazon Ember Artline Fire TV

Lifestyle TVs are getting their time in the spotlight. Also known as art TVs, these TVs double as art displays when you're not watching TV. Samsung's The Frame series is one of the most popular, but earlier this year Amazon debuted its own Art TV, which it calls its Ember Artline. The Ember Artline comes in two sizes (55 and 65 inches), supports Dolby Vision — something that Samsung TVs currently don’t have — and can be customized with an adjustable color frames. All sizes and display options are on sale right now with prices from $425.

This big-screen Mini-LED TV just hit a new price low...

TCL QM6K on table

I know, I know — not everyone has room for an 85-inch TV, but if you've always wanted a big-screen TV at a reasonable price, this is your deal. In addition to its quantum-dot color, the TCL QM6K also comes with an advanced array of Mini-LED backlights. Google TV and Dolby Vision support are here, too, as well as a solid selection of gaming features. All sizes are on sale, but only the 85-inch model is an at all-time price low right now.

An amazing TV deal you won't find on Amazon...

Hisense UR8 4K TV

The Hisense UR8 is an RGB Mini-LED 4K TV. RGB LED TVs use an array of ultra-small LEDs arranged in dimmable zones. However, unlike Mini-LEDs — RGB LEDs use red, green and blue LEDs. As a result, you get brighter, purer colors than what we’ve come to expect from even the best TVs.

The UR8 is a Best Buy exclusive — along with many other RGB Mini-LEDs — and in typical Hisense fashion — it's disrupting the market with an insanely low price point. Case in point — this TV debuted at $1,699 and it's already down to $849, an all-time price low.

This Roku TV is perfect for spare rooms and it's just $199...

Roku TV

(Image credit: Amazon edited with Gemini)

I love Roku's line of 4K TVs. I own the previous-gen version of the TV above and I love it because the picture quality is good enough and the Roku operating system is excellent for streaming from all of my favorite apps. All sizes of this TV are on sale today, but it's the 50-inch model that's at an all-time price low.

If you want a TV with stunning picture quality that'll be the centerpiece of your living room — I'd say look elsewhere. If you want a budget TV for the bedroom — it's a solid pick.

The best OLED you can buy in 2026 is on sale...

LG C6 OLED TV shown on a wood table

Buying an OLED TV has been one of the best tech purchases I've ever made. My OLED TV provides images that are sharp and realistic. This is especially true when watching dark, k-dramas like My Mister and Lost (both of which I recommend 100%).

If you're looking to buy your first OLED, the LG C6 is one of the best OLED TVs of 2026. It offers spectacular OLED performance (including ample brightness) for far less than what you'd have to pay for a flagship-level model. It also comes with a full slate of four HDMI 2.1 inputs, Dolby Vision support, and just about every gaming-related feature a dedicated gamer could ask for. This is the cheapest it's ever been.

This TCL QM7L discount is my top TV deal of the day...

The TCL QM7L with a TG Awards 2026 badge

Happy Monday, everyone! I'm Louis, deals editor-in-chief at Tom's Guide. I've been covering deals and retail holidays for over 15 years, so when it comes to saving money — I'm your guy. I used to recommend people wait till Black Friday/Cyber Monday to make their TV purchases, but these days I don't.

October Prime Day has become the unofficial start to the holidays and for the next few days we'll be seeing some amazing TV deals. My top deal right now is this discount on the TCL QM7L. This TV won a Tom's Guide Editor's Choice Award and it also got the coveted Tom's Guide Award for Best Mini-LED TV. It's TCL's first Super Quantum Dot (SQD) TV and it offers better contrast and color than rival Mini-LED TVs. All sizes are selling at an all-time price low right now.
