Spotting a genuine discount from an overhyped offer can be tricky, but that's where our combined decades of experience covering Black Friday comes into play. We know exactly how to find the very best deals, and we're going to flag the ones that we'd buy ourselves. So, with that said, now let's dive into the Black Friday deals.... 

Best Buy Black Friday deals are offering up some of the best Nintendo Switch bundles ever. If you want a regular Switch there's a Mario Kart 8 Bundle that includes the console, a copy of the game and a 3-month Switch Online membership for $299. However, spring for the premium Nintendo Switch OLED Smash Bros. Ultimate Bundle and you get the best version of the console at a discounted price.

Crocs make for the ideal holiday gift for a loved one or just as a treat for yourself, and right now Walmart is knocking up to 50% off select pairs of men's, women's and children's Crocs in its massive Black Friday sale.  The sale is one of the biggest we've seen and includes all-terrain clogs, slip-resistant clogs, sandals, and more. So if you looking to add some Crocs to your closet, this Black Friday sale is for you.

There are several Black Friday streaming deals available right now, but this Disney Plus and Hulu bundle for $2.99 per month is easily my favorite pick. You're saving around $13 each month (compared to individual $7.99 plans) and getting access to two services that complement each other well. While this deal is only on the ad-supported tiers, for less than $3 a month it's easy to tolerate a couple of advertisements. If you don't need Disney Plus you can get Hulu only for 99 cents.

One of the most important components for a good night's sleep is a comfortable mattress, but you don't have to spend a small fortune to rest easy. Our favorite value mattress is now 40% off in Nectar's annual flash sale.

The Anker PowerCore Slim 10000 portable charger is on sale for $17 at Amazon. Just be sure you check the coupon box on the listing page to get this discount at checkout. I'm a huge fan of this power bank, that's why I own two. It's a travel essential for me and it's the first thing I grab whenever I'm leaving my apartment for any significant period of time.

Any Xbox owner will know that there never seems to be enough storage in your console. Thankfully the storage expansion cards have dropped in price over the past few months, and have hit their lowest ever price for Black Friday. That means you can pick up a 1TB WD_Black C50 Expansion Card for $124 at Amazon.

That's $25 off the usual price, and means you can significantly boost the amount of storage in your Xbox Series S and Series X consoles. Which will be a major help, particularly if you have one of the original 512GB Series S models. The best part is that it's super easy to install, just plug it into the back of your console and let the Xbox handle the rest.

The iPhone 15 might be the new kid on the block, but there's plenty of reasons to consider the iPhone 14 instead. The phone has a vibrant display, excellent cameras, the ever-impressive Acton mode video recording, speedy performance from the A15 Bionic and a rather impressive battery life. 

It's also quite a bit cheaper than the iPhone 15, especially when you grab a Black Friday discount. Right now you can grab an iPhone 14 for $604 at Best Buy. That's $95 less than the current price, and doesn't require you to trade-in an old device,  sign up for a specific plan or lock you to any particular carrier. Just make sure to pick the Activate today option before you add the phone to your cart.

Long gone are the days when finding a PS5 was almost impossible, and the prospect of a discount was laughable. But that's no longer the case, and you can pick up a PS5 for $349 over at Target — but only if you're willing to jump through some hoops.

This offer is only valid today and you'll have to select in-store pickup to net yourself a console. The deal is also exclusive to Target Circle members, but thankfully the retailer's loyalty scheme is free to join. To redeem this $150 off click the option to Save offer, log into your Target Circle account and select your local store for pick up during the checkout process.

Black Friday is a great time to save on appliances, and outdoor ovens are some of our favorites. Really you haven't had pizza until you've cooked it in one of these, and right now you can grab a Ninja Woodfire Outdoor Oven for $269 at Amazon. That's $130 off the usual price, and the lowest this has ever gotten.

If you're lucky, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra for as low as $299 in the Shop Samsung app. You need a sufficiently valuable phone to trade in, and to sign up to a new carrier to get the full discount, but you should be able to save a decent chunk of cash regardless of the phone you're swapping with the default price drop available by shopping through Samsung's app (not its website).

The Galaxy S23 Ultra is one of the top phones of this year, and distinguishes itself with its dual telephoto cameras and built-in stylus, features you won't find on many other phones. Its performance, display quality and battery life are all among the best you'll find right now as well.

Various Levi-made items can be bought for as little as $15 at Walmart, perfect for refreshing your wardrobe ahead of the new year.

Obviously you can buy some new jeans in the sale, but if you fancy a denim jacket, or a Levi-branded shirt, or even a pair of shoes, you can find them all on sale at the link.

Shut out the world and really focus on your music, podcasts or whatever else you like listening too with the Sony WH-1000XM5 wireless headphones, available at Amazon for $328.

Sony's headphones have some of the best noise-cancelling abilities in the business, which along with their great sound and impressive battery life, mean they're our current top headphones pick. About the only complaint we could make is that they're not collapsible like the previous XM4 model was, but we'll hunt around for a deal on that for those who prefer a more portable set of 'phones.

Share the fun of the PS5 and its many excellent games by buying yourself a new DualSense controller, on sale for $49 at Amazon right now.

The DualSense is the same controller you get bundled in with the PS5 itself, except when buying it separately like this you don't have to go for the basic white version. Why not switch things up with a Midnight Black version, or something even more striking like the Nova Pink or Starlight Blue editions?

Air fryers are a handy addition to any kitchen, and we'd recommend the Ninja Foodi 2-Basket Air Fryer, on sale at $129 at Best Buy, to anyone hoping to make big batches of air-fried goodies.

Afternoon, everyone! Deals editor Louis here jumping onto our Black Friday live blog for the next 2 hours. There's a lot to get to, so let's just jump right into things. So I'm subscribed to Netflix and Prime Video right now, but I've always had my eye on Max. It tops our ranking of the best streaming services thanks to its solid selection of movies and its library of prestige television courtesy of HBO. And for Black Friday, you can get a Max premium plan for just $2.99 per month for six months. January is right around the corner and we all know what that means — New Years Resolutions! Fitness gear and apparel tend to see big discounts in January, but I'm seeing a lot of solid deals right now. Amazon in particular is taking up to 30% off a wide selection of CRZ Yoga apparel for women and men. (It's mostly women's apparel, but if you scroll to the very bottom of the Amazon link you'll see some men's apparel on sale as well). The sale includes leggings, pullovers, running shorts, sports bras, and more.

I'm buying a new Mac this month. I wanted an iMac, but Apple didn't release the 32-inch iMac of my dreams. So I'm either going to get a MacBook Pro (not sure which model yet) or an M2 MacBook Air and I'm going to buy that new MacBook at Best Buy. I'm an avid Apple fan and Best Buy is killing it with the Apple deals. Shout out to B&H Photo (first retailer to discount the new M3 MacBook Pros and iMac) and Amazon, but Best Buy is leading the charge with pricing. A lot of Best Buy's really great Apple deals are even cheaper for My Best Buy members. My Best Buy is basically the retailer's answer to Amazon Prime. 

There's a free tier that offers free shipping (no minimum required), but it's the paid tiers that're getting those meaty discounts. Before the day is over I will likely sign up for My Best Buy Plus ($49.99 per year), which I think offers the best value as it gives me those sweet, sweet Apple discounts I want along with free 2-day shipping and an extended 60-day return/exchange window. (My Best Buy Total is cool, but $179.99 per year is out of my budget and I don't need 24/7 Geek Squad support or the extra perks). 

TLDR; if you're buying a new MacBook — turn to Best Buy and consider joining My Best Buy Plus for $49.99 per year. Their MacBook deals are worth it. I'm buying a new Mac this month and I'm joining. 

Everything goes on sale during Black Friday, but in my 16 years covering the event there are two things I recommend buying: TVs and mattresses. Mattresses see the biggest price drops of the year in November. Yes, they're regularly on sale throughout the year, but right now you'll find some of the cheapest prices. When it comes to beds, I recommend buying them directly from the brand. They usually offer better deals, return policies, or bundles that retailers like Amazon don't always offer. That said, Nectar is now taking 40% off sitewide. The sale includes the Nectar Premier Hybrid, a bed I tested and have been using since April. I absolutely recommend this bed as it offers the plush, cozy feel of a memory foam bed, but has the inner springs/coils that prevent you from feeling like you're sinking too much into a bed. But it's still going to set you back $299 even with the best Black Friday deals. So opt for the Samsung Galaxy S23 instead unless you need something truly top-of-the-line. Right now, get the Samsung Galaxy S23 free from T-Mobile — no trade-in needed. That's a great phone for an unbeatable price.

Malcolm from the streaming team here! One of the best Black Friday TV deals I've seen so far is the TCL Q5 Series 4K QLED TV starting at $249 @ Best Buy.

Unfortunately, the 55-inch model that was $229 was too good a deal, so it's gone aside from open-box models. But the 50-inch and 65-inch models are still available and for the price, they're amazing Black Friday deals. 

In fact, this deal is so good I even bought one for myself. Act fast to get yours before these TVs are gone. 

Soundbars are a great solution for building out your home theater but they're not the only option. And our senior phones editor John Velasco has one of the more interesting solutions we've ever seen — ditching a soundbar for Echo speakers.

Black Friday is proving to be a great time for deals on athletic gear, and gym-goers will want to check out the sale on the Gymshark Adapt Seamless Cycling Shorts. They're great for both running and hitting the gym, and right now, they're 70% off at Gymshark.

Currently $13, these shorts offer sweat wicking and high-waisted support. They're particularly well suited for lifting according to our fitness team.

Philip Michaels, here, taking over the Black Friday blog for the next couple of hours. And something I alway monitor during Black Friday is the price of different AirPod models, as those have the tendency to dip downward — sometime s establishing an all-time low.

That's what's happening with the 2nd-generation iPods, which has been available for $99 at Amazon. But the discount is even steeper now, with Amazon selling the 2nd-generation AirPods for $89, which is $40 off their usual price. While not the lowest price — we've seen this model go as low as $79, that's a pretty attractive price for a real strong pair of wireless earbunds.

With phones shipping sans chargers these days, you'll want to pick up one or two anytime you get a new phone. And these accessories make for great stocking stuffers around this time of year.

The Anker Prime 67W USB C Charger covers a lot of charging bases. It's got a pair of USB-C ports along with a single USB port, so that you can charge a phone, tblet and computer all at once. Amazon is selling the Anker Prime 67W USB C Charger for $37, a 37% drop from its regular price and one of the best discounts we've seen on this accessory.

You want to talk about impressive gaming laptop setups, let's consider the Alienware m16 with RTX 4090. Apart from the Nvidia graphics, this particular configuration also gives you an AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX CPU with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.

A machine like that costs a pretty penny, but prices aren't as steep right now. Normally $2,999, you can buy the Alienware m16 with RTX 4090 for $2,499 at Dell. That's a $500 discount for a laptop that delivers premium performance.

Getting a 9th generation iPad for less than $250 is a heck of a deal, and the good news is that on this Black Friday, you can do exactly that. The bad news? At Amazon, that particular model appears to be out of stock — at least for the moment.

But this isn't an instance of snoozing and losing, thankfully. Best Buy is still selling the 10.2-inch iPad for $249, a discount of $80 off the regular price of the Wi-Fi model. We like the 9th Gen iPad's vibrant screen and its long battery life, and you'll like that super-low price.

The Beats Studio Pro offer excellent noise cancellation, long battery life and (usually) a hefty price tag. But a Black Friday deal at Amazon is addressing the last part of that trifecta. 

Amazon is currently selling the Beats Studio Pro for 51% off their regular $349 price, bringing the cost down to $169. 

In addition to the noise cancellation and long battery life, the Beats Studio Pro charge quickly (10 minutes of charging gets you 4 hours of playback) while offering lossless audio support. These are some pretty good-looking headphones to boot, and you'll appreciate the reduced impact on your wallet.

Tempting as it is to default straight to big retailers like Amazon and Best Buy during events like Black Friday, with everyone flocking there, you run the risk of deals running out of stock. Take this Sur La Table 5-Quart Air Fryer, which had been available for $40 off at Amazon. At the present, though, there appears to be nothing left in stock at that price.

Not to worry — Target is offering the same discount, selling the Sur La Table 5-Quart Air Fryer for $39, a drop from it usual $79 price. Supplies do appear limited so if you are looking for an air fryer that's compact and flexible with eight presents, now's the time to act.

The OnePlus Open was the best foldable phone we saw this year, and we've seen quite a few. We're particularly enamored with its thin and light design and its Open Canvas approach to multitasking. That it costs less than the competition doesn't hurt, either.

But at $1,699, the OnePlus Open still costs a lot. Fortunatley, you probably knew that you could get the phone for $1,499 at OnePlus. Beyond that $200 discount, you can get up to $1,000 off when you trade-in a phone along with your OnePlus purchase.

My iPhone 12 would fetch about $190 in credit, OnePlus says, though a newer device like the Galaxy S22 Ultra might return $330. Those aren't huge discounts, but they do get the price of the OnePlus Open closer to $1,000.

Don't have a phone to trade-in? Amazon is offering the $200 discount on the OnePlus Open with no trade-in requirement.

My colleague Kate Kozuch says the Theragun Mini Massage Gun is her go-to item when it's gift-giving time. If you find yourself in a similar boat — or you just want to reap the benefits of a travel-sized massage gun boasting three different foam attachments and three different speeds, you can pick up Therabody's product at a discount right now.

Specifically, Amazon is selling the Theragun Mini for $149, or $50 off its regular $199 asking price. That's a very good bargain on a massage gun that already delivers a fair amount of value in a portable package.

The Roomba S9+ is our top pick among robot vacuums as it's got a premium design and expert mapping features. It's also rather expensive, which is why a Black Friday deal on this Roomba has our attention.

Specifically, Amazon has dropped the Roomba S9+ price to $598 from $999, a 40% discount. That's pretty significant savings on one of the more sophisticated robot vacuums we've tested.

Security and networking editor, Anthony Spadafora here for the next few hours and what better way to start than with a deal on a whole home mesh Wi-Fi system. Besides being owned by Amazon, eero's mesh routers are incredibly reliable and super simple to set up. 

Right now, Amazon has dropped the price of an eero Pro 6E three-pack from $549 to $399. This mesh Wi-Fi system features Wi-Fi 6E with the new faster 6 GHz band along with a 2.5 gigabit Ethernet port for multi-gig internet plans. In our eero Pro 6E review, we really liked how eero includes Zibgee and Bluetooth support so that your router can serve as the center of your smart home. However, you can also use an Echo Dot as a mesh extender if you want to cover even more than 6,000 square feet with a strong Wi-Fi signal.

When I'm not writing about hackers or setting up a new Wi-Fi router, I spend the rest of my time testing out work from home furniture like the best office chairs. Of the chairs I've reviewed this year though, the Branch Verve Chair really stood out. 

Even at its normal price of $589, this is an excellent office chair that looks as good as it feels comfortable to sit in. Right now though, you can pick up the Branch Verve Chair in Black for $471 on Amazon. Switching from a membrane keyboard to one of the best mechanical keyboards can be a game changer, especially if you type all day like I do. While there are loads of different form factors and styles to pick from, there's no mechanical keyboard quite like the 8BitDo Retro Mechanical Keyboard.

At just $99, it's already really affordable given its NES-inspired look and extra features. However, you can grab the 8BitDo Retro Mechanical Keyboard for just $90 at Amazon right now. While this isn't the biggest deal we've seen during Black Friday, it's currently the lowest price ever on this one of a kind keyboard.

At $799 for the entry-level configuration and $999 for the higher-end one, this laptop was hard to recommend when it came out back in October. Now though, you can get the Surface Laptop Go 3 starting at $599 at Best Buy. This version comes with 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD but you can also get this laptop with 16GB of RAM with a $150 discount too.

The Surface Laptop Go 3 may not be a powerhouse in terms of specs thanks to its older 12th Gen Intel Core i5 CPU. However, it's the closest you can get to a MacBook Air if you're a die-hard Windows user. At 2.49 pounds, it's easy to throw in a bag and take with you anywhere. The Surface Laptop Go 3 also has a full-size USB-A port in addition to a USB-C port, so you won't need to bring a dongle with you. It's a sleek device that was slightly overpriced at launch but these discounts make it easier to recommend.

Instead of buying multiple controllers to have one for each platform you play games on, it might be a better idea to invest in a single controller you can use across systems.
