Episode 1, The Star Beast, saw David Tennant return as the Doctor, only with this being the 14th Doctor rather than Tennant's usual 10th. Also back is Catherine Tate's Donna Noble, who's joined by husband Shaun and daughter Rose.
The conclusion of that first episode saw Donna's memories restored, the meta-crisis energy shared with Rose, and Donna and the Doctor embark on one final TARDIS adventure.
