Prior to the opening of CES 2025, Samsung held a private event at Caesars Palace to showcase Bespoke appliances, including the upcoming 2025 refrigerators with the new 9" AI Home. The event projected how these devices interact to provide smart, connected living experiences, which is easily possible through a range of expansive screen options and enhanced AI functionality.

For those who missed out on CES, here is a recap of the event where visitors were able to have a hands-on experience of ways that Bespoke AI appliances and features perform to simplify your daily life and assist in taking better care of you and your loved ones.

'Screens Everywhere' comes to life

As a foundational principle, Samsung has engineered its screen-based appliances to have three core functionalities: First, the screens offer improved visibility and accessibility thanks to their large display area. Moreover, it allows Samsung to deliver product-specific information services like food lists and real-time updates on detergent levels that were previously unattainable, significantly broadening the scope of each appliance’s utility. Plus, control is further aided by the Bixby* voice assistant, for effective, intuitive interactions.

Next, each screen functions as a central hub that facilitates the seamless Multi-Device Experience (MDE), keeping you informed about the statuses of your connected appliances and allowing you to conveniently control them from one central location. Finally, screens still excel at delivering seamless, engaging entertainment experiences through services like YouTube, Spotify, and Screen Mirroring.

In addition to the 32” and 21.5” Family Hub models already available, Samsung has expanded its refrigerator line-up to include models with the 9” AI Home*. This is part of the expansion of the overall number of screen-equipped products in the line-up, with multiple screens size options now available on more appliances — such as a 4.3”* AI Home* display on the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo™, in addition to the 7” model already available. The 7” AI Home was also displayed on the newly launching Bespoke AI™ Washer and Dryer set, extending its presence beyond the combo unit.

A kitchen experience that's smarter than ever

In the kitchen, the AI Home screen has expanded the role of the refrigerator from simple food storage to comprehensive, convenient food management. This capability can be seen on the newly introduced Bespoke Refrigerator with 9” AI Home, which is ideal for those who prefer a more compact screen on this type of appliance. Despite its relatively small size, the screen is packed with new features that provide ultimate convenience. It starts with the refrigerator’s AI Vision Inside technology, which identifies food as it is being stored or removed from the refrigerator*. The system then creates a food list which provides seamless food management by providing relevant recipe recommendations*. Plus, in the U.S., users will even be able to purchase groceries right on the screen through Samsung’s partnership with Instacart, for an even more convenient experience*.

Then there’s the Daily Board, which shows different bits of information throughout the day. Depending on the time, it shows weather, recipes, energy reports, or items low in stock — all based on what is most relevant and helpful.

Different Samsung appliances in the kitchen are also well integrated. After you’ve selected a recipe on the refrigerator, you can just send it directly to the Bespoke Slide-in Range. The oven will preheat itself to the right temperature while you prepare the ingredients and follow the steps on the screen. Then, when you’re waiting in front of the range for the food to finish cooking, you can easily look into Map View* and complete other tasks, like having the Bespoke Jet Bot Combo™ clean the living room. What’s more, users can even control third-party devices like smart lights and plugs that are SmartThings compatible without having to own a separate hub*. This reduces both the steps required in household chores and the physical steps that you take inside the house.

A convenient, connected living experience

The new Bespoke AI™ Washer & Dryer Set also incorporates the 7” AI Home, which makes laundry efficient and convenient thanks to intuitive menu navigation, energy monitoring, and real-time updates on washing cycles. You can also use it to control other appliances such as changing the mode of the air conditioner or starting the robot vacuum cleaner all from the laundry room. There’s a choice of options, too: In 2025, the washer and dryer with AI Home will come in both large and small capacities.

In the heat pump category, the EHS Slim Fit ClimateHub, the first EHS product Samsung is launching in the United States, also features the 7” AI Home that allows you to intuitively operate the entire EHS system and check photovoltaic (PV) energy use. When you use the built-in SmartThings app, you’ll find it easier than ever to monitor and control your whole household’s energy use and keep it within budget.

By bringing its “Screens Everywhere” vision to life, Samsung is setting the stage for a new era of intelligent homes. The AI Home and other screens are not just displays; they are central hubs for managing daily life, fostering greater convenience and deeper integration with connected technologies. As Samsung continues to innovate in this space, the way you interact with your home will also evolve — with AI-based technology becoming a trusted partner in everything from meal prep to laundry and energy management.
