Dyson's first ever wet-dry vacuum is now half price — just AU$778.26
You'll need to act fast to score this Dyson V15s Detect Submarine deal
If you're thinking about upgrading your vacuum this year to one of the best vacuum cleaners money can buy, you've probably considered buying a Dyson. The brand itself is particularly sought-after, but despite hefty price tags, the engineering at its core makes their vacuums stand out above the rest.
As rare as it may seem to find a decent discount on a Dyson product — let alone one of its high-powered vacuum cleaners — Dyson has surprisingly slashed the price of its first wet/dry model.
Right now, Dyson's Amazon storefront has discounted the V15s Detect Submarine Absolute to just AU$778.26 — that's a huge saving of AU$770.74. A great deal, we'd argue and one that shouldn't be missed.
Save AU$770.74
Now down to a new low of AU$778.26, Dyson's Detect Submarine Absolute houses a powerful suction and a superb runtime of up to 60 minutes. It can handle all floor types, including wet and dry messes, and now it's discounted by 50%.
You can also nab this model from Dyson direct for AU$1,549 AU$977, but no matter where you pick it up from, your floors will thank you.
In our Dyson V15s Detect Submarine Absolute review, we gave the vacuum 4 out of 5 stars due to its impressive performance. We found that it can mop and vacuum hard floors with ease and it can be used on all types of surfaces thanks to its range of attachments.
The Detect Submarine comes with the standard Dyson digital motor head, combination tool, hair screw tool and crevice tool, alongside the wall dock and charger.
What makes this model stand out from its predecessor, the V15 Detect Absolute, is the additional wet/dry attachment head. This motorised wet roller head was specifically designed to suck up liquids, debris and remove stains, which are continuously extracted from the roller as it rotates.
Using eight jets, the head spurts out 18ml of water every minute, ensuring a thorough wash across the floor. The dirty water then gets dispersed into a separate tank, which can be easily removed to empty. We also noted in our review that the vacuum didn't leave behind any overly saturated floors after using the wet roller head, which some steam mops or traditional mops do.
The battery life is something of note too, as we found that it could last a runtime of up to 76 minutes. Keep in mind though that Dyson specifications suggest a runtime of up to 60 minutes, so this may differ per user. Nonetheless, even with an hour-long runtime, there's no doubt that this stick vac will have enough juice to get through multiple rooms.
And like most Dyson models, the V15s Detect Submarine boasts an advanced filtration system that gets rid of dust particles, dander, and other airborne allergens. So, if you're looking for a Dyson, now's the time to snatch one up!
