The 90s kid in me is hopping with excitement for the release of "Toy Story 5" this week, and I just might have spent some (or all) of last weekend re-watching my "Toy Story" movies box set in anticipation. Of course, their tenderness, madcap adventures and wholesome sense of justice still hold up.
But where I'd previously been absorbed by Buzz and Woody's plot lines and iconic one-liners, I realized how much of the movies' fun comes from the supporting characters — from Hamm relishing his role as Evil Dr Porkchop in Andy's games, to Sketch's response to Woody's "Draw" command, to Barbie's ingenious method of distracting Ken at Sunnyside.
"You've got a friend in me" is about all of the toys, not just Woody and Andy, or Woody and Buzz. So in the quiz below I've made the supporting characters' lines the stars. Can you recall which movie each quote is from?
