Wow! Acer's Chromebook is just $79 for October Prime Day deals
This is one of the cheapest laptop deals ever
Amazon’s second Prime Day event of the year is now in full swing and the retailer is slashing the price of everything from 4K TVs to Bluetooth headphones. Even better, we've just spotted a laptop deal that easily ranks among the best of the Prime Early Access Sale period so far.
Right now, this Acer 512 Chromebook is on sale for just $79 at Amazon. That’s a $120 discount compared to its full price of $199 and is comfortably the lowest price that Amazon has ever offered this machine for. It’s not the only bargain laptop deal you can shop now either, this HP Chromebook is on sale for $139, which is also a $120 saving compared to its MSRP.
As you’d probably expect for such a low price, this Acer Chromebook is far from a powerhouse laptop, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t still a capable machine. It packs a 12-inch HD display, an Intel Celeron N4020 processor, Intel UHD Graphics 600, 4GB of RAM and 32GB eMMC storage. As you’d expect from a Chromebook, it's powered by the reliable and easy-to-navigate Chrome OS.
This laptop definitely isn’t the right pick for you if you want to perform processor-heavy tasks like video editing, and it’s most certainly not a good pick if you want to take your first steps into the world of PC gaming. However, if you’re looking for a machine that can do the everyday basics, or is suitable for at-home learning, then this Acer Chromebook is an extremely affordable option.
