Richard Priday
Richard is a writer based in London, covering news, reviews, how-tos and buying guides for mobile devices like smartphones, tablets and laptops, as well as other topics like gaming and audio.
He has an impractically large collection of devices, gathered over his five years in tech journalism. Using this broad stock of gadgets, he can compare and contrast a new product's features with similar devices', and figure out if something's a new class leader, or if a different gadget can do what it does better.
While he enjoys writing about the latest iPhones and Samsung Galaxys, he's also an advocate of buying cheaper, refurbished and second-hand devices. He hopes that he can help gadget buyers to cut through the hype around new products, and upgrade to something that suits their needs and budget every time, whether it's brand new or pre-owned.
Richard has an M.A. in Magazine Journalism from the University of Sheffield's world-renowned Department of Journalism Studies, and has also written for WIRED U.K., The Register and Creative Bloq. Aside from mobile devices, he also has a great appreciation for specialty coffee, and is never seen in the office without his Aeropress close at hand.
