Mo Harber-Lamond
Mo is VPN editor at Tom's Guide. Day-to-day he oversees guides on the best VPNs, privacy, and cybersecurity content, which includes making sure all his recommendations are up to date, accurate, and as useful for the reader as possible. He also undertakes regular testing of VPN providers, including their compatibility with streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime and BBC iPlayer, along with assisting the main review team during the biannual VPN review process. He is also a regular contributor to TechRadar, covering VPN and privacy issues.
He graduated with First Class honours in English Literature and Creative Writing from Manchester University, and before joining the Tom's Guide team he worked for several years at Professional Writing Academy where he cut his teeth in both creative and editorial writing. Alongside working with the writing academy, he also side-hustled as a freelance proof-reader and copy-editor, with projects with the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Kyle Books, and Watkins Publishing under his belt – all the while gaining notoriety (if not success) with his band in his homeland of Cornwall.
