I want to use wifi on my phone for my laptop

do you have internet connection on phone?
if yes
which kind of phone do you use?
if android , power on your mobile data, go to settings and find more settings in network settings, check for tethering and wifi hotspot, power on wifi hotspot , setup your hotspot with password,
power on wifi in your laptop and search for the name of your hotspot

Get your phone,needed to be some android.
Than get the USB
Turn on your wireless on your android,and than connect to your wireless router,or of neighbors(how i do).
If you correct that you have to go to android, to Settings/ Developer settings/ and check the--> USB Debugging!
If are you connected to wireless on your phone you have to do just one more step, connect phone and android via USB
on your android go to Settings/ More / Tethering & Portable Hotspot / and check or turn on USB Tethering.
you will have on your laptop internet from your phone, but you can't manage wireless connections on your laptop, they will just send wireless internet to your laptop via USB. hope i've helped you 😀
